Growing up my parents had several breeds of dogs in our household, but none of them compare to our "Bull". We were truly amazed within the first few days of how smart and calm he is. He learned simple commands within the first week of working about 15 minutes a day. He never whined at night and still doesn't. He also loves his kennel and sleeps in it every night next to our bed. Needless to say, we love him! Bull is my husbands new friend. He actually gives Bull a bath when needed and they watch TV in the recliner together. It's just a funny sight to see because my husband has never wanted a house dog or pet for that matter! We have a 5 year old son and a 3 1/2 year old daughter who adore Bull as well. They each call him, "My Bull". He has never shown any aggression towards our kids. Bull is very attentive to them when they are outside. Bull stays right next to them no matter what they are doing. Our kids play really rough at times, but Bull is a trooper and just lovingly takes it. Bull is even great with other dogs, but he is quick to let us know when a dog or person comes around that makes him uncomfortable. He will stand in between us and that person or other dog. Then he gives a growl and bark to warn them. His presence is very intimidating. No one wants to walk through our gate without us there so we feel very protected. It's a huge comfort to have a dog that is so gentle with our children and friends, but also protective of the ones we love. We are absolutely pleased with this breed and we love Bull!
